It is recommended that all clients who use E3 v3.2 Builds 217 to 259 communicating with an SQLServer or Access database upgrade it to E3 v3.2 Build 260. According to Elipse’s technology director, Flávio Englert, this is due to a bug detected in the software’s connection to SQLServer and Access databases, which has already been fixed.

“We have fixed this problem in the management of SQLServer and Access databases connections. The glitch caused all valid connections to the database to be discarded, thus generating an excessive consumption of resources. In addition, Formula’s SaveFormulaValues and SetValueData methods were impaired, which could lead to a GPF in E3Run’s processes”, said Englert.
