In order to present different applications for Elipse’s software programs in the electric power industry, the manager of the company’s branch in Taiwan, Evan Liu, presented a course at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). During this meeting, held in November 4th, Liu addressed a group of students on the uses of Elipse E3 to promote integration between the different power systems in Taiwan.
“E3’s integration platform will integrate all protection relays, including ABB, Siemens, SEL, Toshiba, GE, Areva, Vamp, among others installed in the feeding system”, says Liu.
In addition to this course, Elipse now also provides technical support to the Taiwan Power Company, with the purpose of evaluating the integration between protection relays and CBM (Conditional Base Maintenance System) system.
